Stats Update

Hi All,
These are the latest stats as received from Yvette on Friday.
As you can all see Cue Inn 3 is still on top and playing very
good pool at the moment.
Chasing them all the way is Cue Inn 1 who still can't seem to
fire on all cylinders, playing in fits and starts but still hanging
in there. We will have to wait and see what Mabis 1 do in their
two catch-up games to see the true reflection of the differences. Judging by last weeks game against Cue inn 5 they better pull up their socks or get left behind in the race for the top 4 positions.
Unluckily for Mabis 5 they met their match last week against Cue Inn 1 who whipped them quite comfortably 18-7! Well done to Warren Kensely who managed to loose all 5 of his games after promising to hand us a drubbing!! LMAO!! Good luck to all teams playing this week.
Once again I was away last weekend, this time playing bowles in Robertson. We had a great time and our team managed to secure third spot in the tournament! Much to the delight of my wife, I won a case of Red Wine!!LOL.
By all reports Friday nights Karaoke was a great success and The Cue Inn was packed. Remember the next Karaoke will be on Friday 1st September. Hopefully I will be there this time to enjoy it with all of you!!
Remember the Pool Comp. on Wednesday night. 1st rounds sudden death, best of three from last 16.
Thats all for now folks,
Be Cool, Play Pool!

Hi All,
Its good to be back in Cape Town even though its so darn cold. We all had a great time in Oudhtshoorn and the weather was perfect for the week that we were there. The Ladies performed very well and were very unlucky not to make the semi-finals, losing their last game against the B division winners, Northern Free State by 1 point! An excellent effort from all the girls, especially considering that only 2 of them have ever played at that level before!
It was a great learning curve for all of them and they gained invaluable experience. The nerves obviously played a big part in a lot of tight situations which could very easily have gone the other way! I want to thank all the ladies in the team for the way they supported each other and for the great support shown towards me even though most of them didn't really know me before the tournament. The comaraderie between the players and the two Boland teams was great and can only auger well for Boland Ladies Pool.Watch out next year, I forsee great things happening!!
On a somber note, on behalf of all the girls, our deep condolences to Karina and Adri whos mother passed away on Saturday morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Now on to some Cue Inn Things.
Cue Inn 5 almost caused the shock of the league, narrowly losing 12-13 on the black ball of the last game to Mabis 1 on Tuesday!!! Well done to them. Cue Inn 1 Is playing Mabis 5 tonight at Mabis. I dont have the latest stats etc as Yvette was also away on tour with us and then was sick when we came back. We wish her a speedy recovery and, knowing her, everything will be up to date and running smoothly very shortly!
Last nights Pool Comp. had 27 entries and is growing every week. In future, the first rounds will be "sudden death" and best of 3 from the last 16 only.
Monday we had our monthly Trivia and despite the weather their was a great turnout. Once again thanks to the ladies from La Essence, Elzanne and Kelly for all their hard work.
Karaoke again on Friday 18th. Hope to see you all there.
Take care everybody, see you all soon.
Be Cool, Play Pool
